If you are like me, you are always looking for great wallpaper. I prefer the natural world of nature for my wallpaper. Well today I found a great website with some great pictures. Just find a picture and click on the full size link at the bottom. Right click and save. In Linux Mint you just add it to your wallpaper and away you go. Enjoy!

12 Hour Clock Fix in Linux Mint
Here is a real simple fix so the time will display in a 12 hour format. The problem has been reported in Linux Mint 13, 14, and 15.
To fix, click on the time in the bottom menu. Click on Date and Time Settings. then copy and paste the following in the “Date format for the panel ” line:
%a %b %e,%l:%M %p
That’s it. Close the dialog box and your done.
Windows Like Open Source OS
ReactOS is a new operating system that is free and open source. It is not Linux based, but rather is based on the best design principles found in the Windows NT architecture. It is binary compatible with Windows, which means that Windows applications and drivers will run on it. I plan on using it in virtual box to run iTunes (for my podcast). Wonder how long before MicroBorg tries to shut them down?
NOTE: ReactOS 0.3.16 is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.
